I don't know where the info came from, This is either wrong or outdated: https://github.com/Niko1221/Strata/blob/6f32ec070f23ced9f50e704d854d775da52591ab/setup.py#L992-L993 I just compiled strata with the following .bat script without any issues: ```batch @echo off call "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio\18\Community\VC\Auxiliary\Build\vcvarsall.bat" x64 >nul cmake -G Ninja -S . -B ./build ^ -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Release ^ -DSTRATA_ENABLE_CUDA=ON ^ -DSTRATA_BUILD_TESTS=OFF ^ -DCMAKE_CUDA_ARCHITECTURES=89 ^ -DSTRATA_GGML_DIR=.\third_party\llama.cpp || exit /b 1 cmake --build ./build --target strata -j 8 && exit /b 0 echo (the build stopped - trying it once more) cmake --build ./build --target strata -j 8 || exit /b 1 ``` As you can see I used Visual Studio 2026 (2026 = version 18) Cuda version was: ``` > & "C:/Program Files/NVIDIA GPU Computing Toolkit/CUDA/v13.3/bin/nvcc.exe" --version nvcc: NVIDIA (R) Cuda compiler driver Copyright (c) 2005-2026 NVIDIA Corporation Built on Tue_Jun__9_14:30:19_Pacific_Daylight_Time_2026 Cuda compilation tools, release 13.3, V13.3.73 Build cuda_13.3.r13.3/compiler.38244171_0 ```
