Which quant to pick
Start at Q4_K_M: it is the usual sweet spot between size and quality, and it is what most reports use. Move up to Q5 or Q6 only if you have headroom and can measure a difference on your own tasks. Below Q4 the loss becomes noticeable in code and long reasoning.
