#607 Offer to donate AI inference and contribution work to Strata

Hi @Niko1221! I use Strata myself, and wanted to say thank you for building it. Making these models practical to run locally is something I care about, and I’d like to give something back by donating my own AI inference usage and time toward a small fix.

I’m building [Tokate](https://tokate.dev), which lets contributors use their own AI subscriptions to work on maintainer-approved issues. Supporting projects we use and helping local model development move forward is exactly the kind of contribution I built it for.

Would you be open to trying it on one focused issue? #592 looks like a possible starting point: return a useful HTTP 400 for malformed `tools` input and cover both API paths with regression tests using the existing mock engine. I’d check for overlapping work first, and I’m happy to take a different small issue if that would help more.

I’d cover the AI usage, reproduce the problem, review the generated changes, run the agreed checks, and handle revisions. Tokate opens a draft PR after verification. You approve the scope and checks, and keep final review and merge control. The aim is to take on the implementation and follow-up work so there’s less for you to carry.

There’s an initial repository setup step for the approval policy and verification checks, which I can prepare for your review. You wouldn’t need an AI subscription or to share any credentials.
