AdGuard 8.0.2
My deployment was causing intermitent network connectivity. It kept switching between "Server Not Reachable" to "idle" and failing 1 in 3 requests.
After a lengthy troubleshooting session, turns out the my local AdGuard installation was causing the issue.
Disabling loopback filtering seems to have sorted it from: Settings -> App Settings -> Advanced -> Filter localhost.
I also added the strata and python executables in the "Exclude apps from filtering by their full path".
One of the steps to troubleshoot it was using powershell + simple python server to loop through requests and see if it failed:
1..50 | % {
curl.exe -s -o NUL -w "%{http_code}" --max-time 5 http://127.0.0.1:8080/
if ($LASTEXITCODE) { " FAIL exit $LASTEXITCODE" } else { "" }
} | Group-Object | Select Count, Name
Also checking providers in the Windows Filtering Platform (WFP). Getting an export with:
netsh wfp show state file=C:\Temp\wfpstate.xml
Then checking for <providerKey> and <name> for anything 3rd party.
I hope this helps someone
