MANAGEMENT
Dr. Brian H. Watts, PhD, CEO

Dr. Brian H. Watts possesses over twenty years’ experience in software, Internet applications and systems development.  In his position as CEO of NYIC, he has guided the development of countless software and Internet products and projects, employing a wide range of technologies. 

He created and successfully marketed his first commercial software product, the database search product BiB/Search, and its international trade database variant, Trade/Search in 1992.  Elsevier Science Publishers, headquartered in Europe, licensed the search engine of BiB/Search to index medical science abstracts and marketed a Mac and DOS version of ‘Medical Science Abstracts’ in Europe and Japan. The product enabled users to search databases of these abstracts.

Dr. Watts holds a doctorate in experimental psychology from New York University (specializing in human cognition, human factors/machine interaction), and advanced degrees in Computer Science and Mathematical Statistics.

SOFTWARE ENGINEERING

Staff includes software engineers and Internet developers representing a broad range of disciplines and experience.  StrataT owns a substantial amount of intellectual property, however, in cases in which we do not open capabilities we have created, we own our own expertise.  At StrataT, “anything we can do, we can do better.”
